Spectrum Ability is funded by people like you.
Spectrum Ability is there to make it easer to learn about disability. We try to make it as easy as possible to understand, through entertaining and informative videos and teaching materials.
We service teachers and educators, as well as anyone else who is interested in learning.
But we cannot do it without you.
About 1 in 5 people around the world has some sort of disability or disabling condition.
With improved access to healthcare and an aging population, this number will only grow. In fact, people with disabilities make up the largest minority group in the world – and the only minority group that anyone can join at any time.
That is why we must learn about disability now, so we can create more disability-friendly communities, classrooms and workplaces.
Why should you help?
We want to do all we can to help everyone learn about disability. Even though we stick to a small budget, we still need the resources to keep making high-quality content for all to enjoy.
To make learning accessible, we would like to keep our content free for everyone to use – whether it be teachers, friends and families of people with disabilities, or people with disabilities themselves.
Our dream is to make it possible for anyone to learn about disability.
Inspire the next generation.
In addition to our videos, we provide teaching material to classrooms through activities, resources and references. We help students better understand any classmates with disabilities and the world that they will enter as adults.
Through Spectrum Ability, they learn about the diverse types of abilities that exist in our communities.
Your support helps us inspire our future architects, city planners, teachers, nurses and doctors.
